SCOPE
EDi provided MEP & FP engineering systems design for a new 19,000 square foot data center and NOX center project for Hosted Solutions which provides leasable service rack space as well as disaster recovery areas to outside companies. The design of this mission critical facility included a fully-sized generator and UPS for 24/7 back-up, CRAC units for the HVAC system, as well as full above-floor and below-floor fire alarm and chemical fire suppression system.

Data Center Renovation and Expansion
SCOPE
EDi is provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering systems design and construction administration for renovation and expansion of the Cotanche Data Center. This project began with a study to create the scope of work, develop budget estimates, and determine the phasing to meet budget requirements.
The subsequent design and construction will be completed in multiple phases with pre-purchasing of electrical and mechanical equipment. The electrical work includes new UPS and busway systems; the mechanical work includes in-row cooling systems and modifications to the FM-200 system.
